Advertising Led Selection

This is when a combination of advertising,  proactive sourcing within existing extensive networks and newly researched ones  is the most appropriate methodology to uncover the most relevant candidates.

Once Grow  understands  your specific candidate and job requirements we will work closely with our media partner and:

  • Recommend effective Trade / Local / National Press or Internet Media options.
  • Write advertising copy, ensuring the advert is attractive to the targeted readership
  • Place the advert
  • Take response from the advert

When the advert is running, GROW will ensure a consultant is available during and outside of work hours to maximise the candidate response. As a result of lack of privacy due to open plan offices and call restrictions, candidates mainly respond outside working hours, so this is a critical element of our service.

Long listed candidates will then undergo a thorough competency based interview aimed at establishing if they have:

  • The skills to do the job
  • Have the aspirations to do the job
  • Will integrate easily into the client's culture

Candidate shortlists are accompanied by interview notes and optional behaviour profiling reports. We will identify positives, negatives and areas that should be probed further which ensure our clients have a good understanding of each candidate and can get the most from their very first interview.
GROW manage the whole recruitment process, from organising and assisting in running client interviews and assessment centres, to negotiating job offers and a start date.
